Country House La Cuccagna - FERMO

We had dinner in this rustic trattoria during the Marche stage of our holiday. The location is an ancient farmhouse of the '800 renovated. The environment is very informal and you have the impression of having dinner in your own courtyard. The typical cuisine of Marche offers traditional homemade dishes: cheese appetizers and local meats, first dishes with homemade pasta and sauces prepared strictly at the moment as the tagliatelle with the sauce of Pharaoh and vegetables. Second there are the mixed grill and the lamb roast made to the grill. There are the famous Abruzzo roasters. A different dessert is always proposed that is the one made at home by the manager. The real attraction of the place however remains Mrs. Gerrvasia who manages the structure together with her son. A charismatic person, direct, immediate, genuine and unbridled, just like his kitchen.

Birthday of a child, two tables, one seven adults and one 9 children. Booked in person a week before asking if children could eat who the pizza and who a first is this was confirmed. Upon arrival, already said that for children had already been decided, for adults practically decided the owner that we had to order all the same otherwise in the kitchen they would be angry, and not too much choice!!! However food under the norm, bad service, owner anything but nice and kind, just the contrary. Big surprise at the end, at the children's table was brought: two small trays of chips, 5 daisy pizzas, really miserable dressing, 4 portions of tortellini with sauce, water even in bottle and a coca cola caraff from half liter. Calda. At the time of welding the account of the table children, it was asked the beauty of 15 euros per child!!!! Tot 135 euro!!!! Once we made the remonstrances we received arrogance and maleducation saying that the children have exploited the park is that it must be paid (what not said before), two jumps deceased and a house on the tree that barely stands a child and a half!!!! Don't go! They make you eat what they want and make you pay what they want! You crazy! All seasoned by an approximate and superficial service, especially by the owner!!! Ah I forgot, there is a swimming pool outside the ground, very small, obviously fenced, if you ask the possibility to use it ask you a supplement of at least 50 euros, as if not enough already exorbitant accounts!!!!

Really a great dinner with typical Marche dishes! The place is not even two minutes from the coast of Porto San Giorgio, it is very simple to get there. It has a large parking lot and wonderful outdoor spaces for children. The room is rustic, the friendly service and the dishes fully reflect the local culinary tradition. I recommend lamb and various types of pasta. The appetizers are phenomenal. Excellent quality/price ratio! Recommended, we will return!

The kitchen is very homemade but of good quality (when there was the pasta was made by hand), the outside space is very nice ideal to spend a Sunday with the family eating at a fair price. The service is very familiar and homemade
