We went for lunch today. The cellar restaurant is small and cosy, the staff are very friendly and attentive. St Aiden"s wines are fantastic and the food great. I had a beef hot pot and my wife had their special of Pork neck and cuscus. Both dishes were very good even though my wife said her carrots where a bit raw. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the spring with their plowman's platter out in their open area. View all feedback.
What Blueywa doesn't like about St Aidan Cellar Door Restaurant:
I have eaten here many times and throughly enjoyed the meals. Today was not its usual standard. The lamb was fatty and tough. Lemon Meringue was tasteless and meringue sloppy. Portion sizes seemed to have shrunk as well. Lovely venue and fantastic service. View all feedback.
Called into St Aidans today in the Ferguson Valley. The meal was so disappointing, and the deserts should not have left the kitchen, they were so bad. Aren’t going back!
We called by recently to sample the wines. The owners provide guests with a list of wines on offer you choose 5 to taste for $10 complete with some cheese and crackers. If you buy wine then the $10 come off. We had an enjoyable time and particularly enjoyed the white wines. Recommended.
The food was excellent and delicious. The restaurant itself has a beautiful view. The wine was also very good. The staff were welcoming and attentive.
I was taken with my daughter and her husband to celebrate my 82nd Birthday. I enjoyed every aspect of the occasion and can recommend the venue and its surroundings to others.
