Many cafes tend to make their lattes too milky, lacking in coffee taste, so I was pleasantly surprised by the balance here. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area.

The water was just the rig... read more This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere right in the heart of Cronulla. The coffee has a rich flavor—it's neither sour nor bitter. The water was just the right temperature, the milk was excellent, and it had a nice frothy texture. The staff were funny, friendly, and very quick, with the exception of one older waitress who never seemed to smile. I don’t think I waited more than 2-3 minutes for my order, which is fantastic since long queues are not a great way to start the weekend. Overall, I would give Kafenio a rating of 10/10. It has become my favorite coffee shop in Cronulla!
