Panda - Fenton
Panda
Description
Once a local favorite in Fenton, this small mom-and-pop Chinese spot is best known for generous portions, classic dishes like General Tso and Crab Rangoon, and fast, friendly takeout with easy online ordering. Guests praise cleanliness, vegetarian options and value, plus convenient strip‑mall parking. However, diners report growing inconsistency since an ownership change: overcooked or smaller wings, oily or onion-heavy fried rice, recipe tweaks, higher prices and isolated food-safety complaints, leaving quality unpredictable.

I witnessed a troubling situation during my visit to this restaurant. While I was in the men’s restroom, I noticed someone checking the faucet handle. After I exited, I was waiting for my order when I saw a male cook coming out of the women’s restroom. He seemed to have dry hands, and when I checked the women’s restroom, the sink was completely dry as well. To my concern, he was working in the kitchen without wearing gloves.
Great food!Vegetarian options: Our friend orders veggie lo mein and spring rolls. She loves them.Parking: Location is in a strip mall, when busy you may not find close parking but we've always found parking even when busy.
Dish 1. Chicken wings were overcooked...Dry and hard! We could not get 2 bites off of each wing! They have changed the size of the wings so they are really small. What used to barely fit in a wax paper bag, is now bouncing around inside the new /smaller type bag, that they 're using.Dish 2. Pork fried rice and it was full of onions. It ruined the flavor of the entire dish! Dish 3. Crab rangoon never had to use sweet sour sauce....but wait! They changed the recipe! They 're turning into average food at best....sorry about your luck... We 've gotten food recently, hoping it 'll be better, Sorry I don 't know if we 'll go back....very disappointing. Especially since the prices went up.
Recently renovated with a modern touch, this restaurant offers indoor dining. It features four spacious round tables that accommodate four people each. The menu is extensive and showcases fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. We look forward to returning to try another entrée!
