What User doesn't like about Krispy Kreme:
I checked online and saw that this restaurant closes at 10. It was 8:30, so we had plenty of time to get there. However, when we arrived at 9:05, we were surprised to see a closed sign. The restaurant should consider updating their hours if they are unable to adhere to them. View all feedback.
I ordered by the drive up my order for 6 donuts when I came home I found my order was not what I were for the donuts were dried and the fillings I asked were nothing but wanted most had a filling in the donuts my first tos I could say the donuts were amazed to me as if they wanted to push old stings on I tell them that they are aware of what they put in their box when they order donuts make them secure their fresh and is exactly what they pay for opening them the box right theirs!
Word of warning Dont bother placing your order online ahead of time. Lobby closed and you are forced to wait in long drive-thru lines (I waited nearly 25 minutes to get a prepaid online order.No signs or online notification that this was the case either. Might as well order when you get there and have hot fresh donuts.
Beyond disappointed! Ordered online through Google and this did not make it anymore convenient or quicker to pick up my order. 4 cars in front of me when I arrived and waited almost 20 minutes to pick up my order through the window since the inside is still not open. Also I was completely ripped off with pricing. Online charged $20.99 for the spring minis (they were not even freshl, very dry) and they are only $15.99 at the store. A dozen glaze I was charged $15.79 online and they are only $10.99 at the store. I was treating my work staff this morning and it was very disappointing.
KK has definitely gone downhill in the past 5 years. Used to be, by far, the best donuts around. Not anymore. They seem to be skimping on everything from the icing to the filling. I ordered a custard filled and I had to eat 9/10th of the donut before I got to the tiniest smattering of custard. Almost deceiving. The glazed just don't taste like they did 5-10 years ago . . . don't know if they've tried to make them healthier or what. Just not the same and not nearly as good as they used to be.
