Simply a wonderful place. When I die, my Heaven would be the Crust Bakery, eating their Veggie Benedict, with Bre chattin' at me with fresh hot coffee. Perfection. Thanks Crust. View all feedback.
What Bella B doesn't like about Crust A Baking Company:
Arrived 1230pm Saturday; quoted 45 min wait... actual seat time 25 min. I knew it'd be about 20-25 as I walked through dining room. Saw 4 tables open and a couple dirty, but about 15 people waiting. No reservation or call ahead seating. Server was personable, nice, and ADHD-adjacent.Food and drinks were SLLLOW all around. .. noticed she forgot stuff from other tables, forgot our condiment and took it from neighboring... I was honestly taken aback by the rude customer service I received from Erika (sp?). She was the girl with glasses, hair tied up in a blue wrap, and not-so-great teeth. I requested curbside pickup because I have a cast on my leg, and she immediately adopted a dismissive tone over the phone. When she finally brought my order to my vehicle, she didn't greet me or say thank you or have a nice day. Instead, she just stated, "We were slow, so I could bring this out; normally we don't," and then walked away. I've used curbside delivery many times before, and if your policy has changed, your staff should simply communicate that without the attitude and rudeness. On a positive note, the food was fantastic as always.
I ordered a pizza and was really looking forward to enjoying it. However, when I opened the box, I found that the sauce was so watery that it resembled pizza soup. I'm really disappointed.
And then there was the cream cheese danish... which didn’t have any cream cheese in the middle! What a disappointment. My wife loves cream cheese danishes, but these hollow pastries were a waste of $6. HOW DO YOU FORGET TO PUT CREAM CHEESE IN A CREAM CHEESE DANISH?! It takes a conscious effort to leave it out. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon; for the prices they charge, the flavor just isn’t there, and it’s not worth the trip. The crust was also a letdown.
My wife and I stopped in for coffee. We tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Almond Roca Mocha. Both were amazing! As I was paying I made eye contact with a cinnamon roll that ended up leaving with us too. Highly recommend for yummy coffee drinks and baked goods!
I visited the restaurant recently and was welcomed by Carli. She is truly amazing! So kind, friendly, personable, and professional! I will definitely be returning! A big thank you to Carli for the excellent service!
