So, we are down this way house dog sitting and being in a motorhome isn't always easy to get about etc., fed up of cooking and we find within easy walking distance the Swan Inn, now I always check trip advisor Facebook reviews and they had some pretty good ones so we tried it out twice. Yes, it's an old pub that probably has seen better days but it's clean, staff owners are exceptionally friendly and can't do enough for you and a big plus for us it's dog friendly inside or out. The bonus is the food is great, I mean really really good, today's Sunday roast best we have had in a long time and very reasonable. I always like to give a shout-out to local establishments wherever we visit and I believe there are a few campsites locally so give them a visit and you won't be disappointed but best to ring and pre book. Thanks to the Swan Inn team for making our visit here memorable

What a gem! We stayed at the caravan park just 5 mins drive. Last minute on a Friday evening for 9 of us we were accommodated in such a friendly way. It’s obvious the locals love this place but we were greeted very warmly by all. Toys to keep the little one busy, delicious food at brilliant prices and a great selection of gins!! Loved it!

Great hearty food in a pub environment. Staff very friendly and look after you well. We went on a Friday to a set menu and had a beer and a burger. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic food, good atmosphere and excellent value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners Brad and Yvette. Debbie who does the cooking is an excellent cook and nothing is too much trouble for her if there is something different required from the menu she will do her best to accommodate. Have often jut popped in for one drink and ended up staying till closing! Sunday lunch ....Excellent Friday night Steak night ....Excellent Need I say more
