I recently ordered takeout from The Jolly Fryer, and I have to admit it was absolutely disgusting. I can't understand how someone could ruin cod, chips, and mushy peas so badly. The chips were soggy, covered with mushy peas, and topped with an undercooked piece of cod. It was not only unappetizing in appearance, but it also tasted terrible. I have been going to this fish and chip shop for years. The staff is always friendly, the place is always spotlessly clean, and the food and portions are of good quality.
This charming fish and chip shop, run by a family, is fantastic. There is nothing to complain about. The quality of the food is excellent and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly, helpful, and polite. I wouldn't want to eat anywhere else. I highly recommend it.
