Cafe restaurant on the way to Sestiere. Run by an Asian family from Hong Kong. A lovely corner on the way to the Alps and France

We stopped by Va Va Bar in the morning for a simple coffee and a bathroom break, but it turned out to be a truly surprising discovery. We noticed the sign Hong Kong Cuisine and, intrigued, we inquired: the bar is run by a family of Chinese origin, and that evening we decided to return for dinner. It was a wonderful experience: the parents, now elderly, still cook according to authentic Chinese tradition. The menu isn 't extensive, but each dish is meticulously prepared and prepared with passion. We tried several appetizers and the ramen, both delicious, with authentic and authentic flavors. The service was welcoming: the waiter was kind, smiling, and ready to explain the dishes. At the end, we were able to thank and compliment the chef as well. Being in the mountains and enjoying such authentic Chinese cuisine was almost surreal and absolutely delightful. We will definitely be back to try other dishes!

The food was very good and also classic Japanese cuisine (I don't want to be wrong) and in any case 5 star food

Let 's be clear: if you 're expecting the typical Chinese restaurant we 're used to in big cities, disappointment will inevitably lead to a misjudgment. Here, the selection of dishes offered is decidedly limited; you won 't find a menu with dozens of options and affordable prices. At Va Va, the focus is on quality, not quantity. The prices are certainly higher than average, but...be careful! Here, every flavor is perfectly balanced, every dish is a surprise that captivates and has nothing commercial about it. Recommended for those seeking intense yet delicate flavors, for those ready for a pleasant, artisanal experience. Regulars of the all-you-can-eat menu should refrain.

Very good little Chinese restaurant, fresh and very pleasant dishes, with a local touch. Local wine too.
