the eating didn't look like the picture had taken almost 1 hour and I'm only 15 minutes away I understand that there were a few stops, reis was cold and very muddy suppe was very warm,coils the dinner had to get out and another dinner,very disappointing hope that the owners take notiz and try to take care of their customers on this advice, they have. It's not bad, but not great. eating is cheap and very nice portions, my garnels were just too much roasted. the rice and the crispy pork were delicious. if you want something fast, then this is place to go, as the service is pretty fast.
Another week, another fambam dinner. this week we thought we would go back to the yang tse river restaurant to enjoy some of our favorites that is unique to this special restaurant. it is located in a small group of shops along payneham, it has very average signage, so slow when they approach, otherwise they could miss it. the interior of the restaurant is decorated with Chinese themed paintings of various genres, a terrible color scheme and sticky Chinese ornaments throughout the room. Just don't waste your time or money on this place. Spend a bit extra and get food that taste good and that gets delivered faster then 2hours after you order.
Good quality food at very reasonable prices. We often get delivery if we can't make the effort. Haven't had an item on the menu we haven't liked. The Rich-Mans Fried Rice must be tried, it's amazing.
Shanghai comes to SA. Yang Tse specialises in the Shanghai region of Chinese cuisine. After talking one of the staff I found out that the chef is the owner. To keep the doors open they rely heavily on students in particular from the Shanghai regions travelling out from the city to get specialties specific to their region. There is a separate menu on the wall that changes regularly based on the Shanghai hometown dishes. Apparently the pick of the bunch is the Crispy Garlic Ribs: "Every table that comes here orders crispy garlic pork spare ribs '. Also the 'chef special chilli with fillets chicken '.
