Great place to visit and lunch when we drove to bacalar. we have read many great critikens and it has not disappointed! a man speaks English and helped us. we ordered a banana milkshake, black steak, tostadas with huh and rice with egg and vegetables. it was delicious! go here as the service is friendly fast and the prices are cheap.

We were on the way to bacalar and stopped at this place for a bite. we had fajitas and enchiladas. eating was very good and very inexpensive. it was served on a beautiful terrace. the personal spoke well English and was very friendly. we recommend definitiw a stop in this restaurant.

Great place to eat in felipe carrillo puerto. I came for the good reviews and was not disappointed. the food was great, and the atmosphere of this place was really good. will come back when I am in town!

Can highly recommend La cocina de mama Lupita, located in Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Family run restaurant serving delicious food. We stopped there for breakfast and each dish was outstanding. I opted for the huevos rancheros and it did not disappoint. The motulenos and the hot cakes also looked incredible. The menu offered a good number of options making it hard to decide what to choose! The owner Antonio Banderas made us feel very welcome and shared with us his local knowledge of what to see and do in the area. I 'll be back!
