We stopped here for a rest and had kaffee und Kuchen. One was a rhubarb with marzipan and the other apfel strudel. The rhubarb was really heavy with the marzipan but I didn't check it out before ordering. All in all, very delicious though. I liked seeing someone wearing dirndls finally. Wish more people would.
As I am not always the best planner, I love to bump into a great find. We went here based on the recommendation of our pension owner and enjoyed every minute of it. Typical atmosphere with nice wooden accents and beams, a beautiful chimney and large windows to watch the beauty surrounding you. We worried a bit if we were underdressed, but not at all. Definitely a mix of all types dining and the food did not disappoint. My meat loving hubby actually ordered a vegetarian dish with mushrooms and Knödel...so yummy. I went for the traditional schnitzel. Some of the best I've had in Germany and I've tasted quite a few. My favorite was how they served the lemons on top without the rind so you could have a real citrusy flavor on top with small chunks if you like. Great price for a delicious dinner.
We had a very good diner for a reasonable price. Beautiful (local) wines and whisky's, even a local whisky. Pleasant staff, nice location. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended.
Had a very nice meal at the restaurant. Carrot cream soup, deer ragout, lamb shoulder and salads. All very yummy. Nice atmosphere. A step up from the other restaurants we went to near Titisee. The server even took our two year old to the play room so we could enjoy our main course in peace. Reasonable priced with main courses for around 20€.
