El Barrio - Federal Way

Finally made it to El Barrio for some eats. Brunch is a fairly new thing for them and it was on a Sunday so we didn't have very high expectations. Since our expectations were not high, we were definitely not disappointed. The service was great and the brunch was good, we left with full bellies. The small but tasty buffet had scrambled eggs, chorizo and eggs, 3 types of beans, and rice. Also, the chips and salsa were on point. I think the El Barrio weekend brunch buffet has great potential once it starts drawing in more customers. Hopefully an increase in popularity will help them to be able to increase the buffet offerings. We would love to see them offer more fruit, Mexican pastries, and maybe some more meat varieties. We will definitely be going back and hopefully the brunch buffet expands due to customer support.

Great staff, once inside you are transported to Mexico, be sure to share what you order as the portions are very well prepared and huge.

First time at El Barrio quiet classy with outstanding service. Didn’t wait that long to be seated, but three times were acknowledged by wait staff instead of being ignored until they’re ready. Our server, Mario, was great and food came out faster than we expected. Wonderful Molcajete very tasty and filling. The best part is that we really enjoyed our dinner yet we were in and out in one hour! We’ll definitely be back!

Good neighborhood spot close to home. The tortilla soup was great. The owners seem to really care about their business as it's a great little restaurant inside. Portions are a little smaller but that's ok because the quality of food is better then the chain restaurants. My wife and I will be returning.

Food is great! Decent prices, friendly staff. Definately coming back!
