Denny's Restaurant - Federal Way

Employees were great! Food was awesome!! If we lived here we'd go back.

The restaurant was packed. Seemed that the staff didn't have enough support for the amount of customers. Multiple customers were angry. And the staff handled it to the best of their ability. Got us seated fairly quick. Our breakfast was good for the price we paid. And we were in and out and on our way. Making room for the next guest to be seated.

4.5s 5/10/22 Dine in Good, attentive and friendly service. Taking 1/2 star only for the overly generous salt cook added on many (not all) of the nice, hot fries. Individuals that like more salt and/or pepper can add to their taste from containers of each at the table. Super Bird grilled turkey sand. and hot, fresh coffee with creamers very good. To go (for another) I was told burger fries were good. Sad, new menu no longer has Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.

Our amazing hostess/waitress, Michelle, got our order perfectly, she went above and beyond! A very bubbly individual with a great sense of humor, beyond witty, and overall just fun positive attitude. Wonderful experience, would definitely go just to be serviced by her again! We even plan on inviting her out once our 'corny-mobile ' is up and running! -Tom Sr., Sue, Tom Jr., Vanessa

I'm a weekly visitor at this particular Denny's. I've had my share of good and bad service here, I will admit, and I will be the first to point out crappy service and crappy food when I receive either. On the flip side, I will also be the first to Acknowledge great service and great food, should either occur. Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to receive the latter. I ordered an Ultimate Omelet, with hashbrowns, sourdough toast, and coffee. I was served PIPING HOT (and delicious) food within 20 minutes of placing my order (rare, to be sure). There was adequate butter on all 4 pieces of toast, the hashbrowns were perfectly crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, the omelet was fluffy and filled with perfectly cooked meats and veggies. My only negatives are: that the coffee wasn't replenished at a quick enough rate (previous visits proved that this could be accomplished), the sugars were not filled (no sidework done), and my companion's coffee cup was dirty when it was brought to the table. On average, my experience here is about 3-1/2 stars, with the potential for improvement. Yesterday's experience was a solid 5 stars, based on the food alone.
