We found this place in our hunt for Italian and OMG did we find a gem! We each got a new dish and dessert and shared and it was amazing. Every single bite I could squeeze in me was delicious. There were 3 of us and we took home enough for a small lunch and dessert again. The service was amazing as well. Personable, attentive, great conversations and took care of us well. Hands down our new favorite place in Fayettevi... View all feedback.
The food was great, and our server, Alex, was absolutely superb. He had excellent intuition and always knew exactly what to say and do. We were truly impressed and will definitely be back. The marinara sauce served with the calimari tasted fresh and delicious, and the chicken carbonara and ravioli were excellent. The minestrone soup was tasty, but might be a bit much if you don't care for spicy food. The wine selection seemed to have been selected with the intention of pairing well with certain menu items, and succeeded. Everything was clean, and it was a wonderful dining experience. Thank you to the whole team!
I was a little thrown off on the location but was pleasantly surprised. The ambiance is great. The food was good as well. I had the Shrimp scampi and Ceasars salad. My husband got the peppers and sausage with a house salad. The waitress never came to check on us except to take our order and drop off food. My husband would have liked another drink but she never returned.
High hopes due to the high reviews that this restaurant had, but we did feel disappointed. Ordered the Caesar salad which was good and the minestrone soup which had little flavor and no salt (I don’t like things very salty, but this had no salt). The beer was good and a decent price. We waited for our food for 45mins+ with only four other people in the restaurant (at 6:15pm on a Tuesday). The chicken Parmesan had burnt breading that was covered in a sauce that didn’t taste very good. The primavera Irene, I ordered without mushrooms and it came with them. There was also little seasoning in there when I ordered it with the pesto. Our server Jasmine looked like she wasn’t having a great time, but was attentive and timely. Probably wouldn’t recommend until they get a new cook or maybe more help in the kitchen.
Came here for the first time this week. Everything was great, the ravioli Rosa was especially good. Really appreciate having this place over this side of town. Had a good laugh at the 1 star reviews on here and the owner's responses. Love that he defends himself and his restaurant and isn't fawning to everyone. Not all customers are right, and sometimes they need to hear that ? will definitely be back!
My husband and I made our first visit for dinner last night. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and the smaller size helps it feel intimate. As we waited for our food we noticed a good amount of take out traffic, which seems positive. My husband ordered chicken parmesan, which he thoroughly enjoyed, basically licking his dish clean. He chose the caesar side salad and loved the housemade croutons and dressing. The romaine was fresh, no gross core pieces or wilted bits. After sampling his croutons I told him that Renzo's should add a crouton appetizer basket and my husband enthusiatically agreed and said it should be served with their casear dressing. I'd order a basket of croutons, wouldn't you? I chose the meatball sub. It was yummy! The sub was quite large, with 8 small to medium meatballs. The meatballs were a tad dry, but I think this had to do w/ broiling the mozzarella on top. They were still good and had a decent spice kick. The pamesan fries that came with the sub were perfectly dark golden brown, just how I like them, w/ a hint of parmesan sprinkles. Loved it. We also received a few pieces of garlic bread which we both enjoyed....it was thick sliced bread w/ a touch of butter or oil and seasoning. I wish I could have ordered dessert, but I just didn't have room. We'll definitely return to Renzo's and sooner than later.
