This is some of the best Greek food you can find outside of Queens. The portions are generous, and the hummus and baba ganoush are fantastic. I can't wait to try more of their offerings! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about King David's:
The gyros were quite good, with plenty of flavorful meat and an authentic Greek taste. My only issue was with the spanakopita; perhaps it didn’t meet my expectations as a Greek who’s accustomed to traditional flavors. View all feedback.
You walk in and order at the counter, they give you a number, and you go find a table. At lunch time it was medium busy, so there were plenty of places to sit. The food came out pretty quick. The workers were kind as well. I had the loaded falafelbowl, and it was good. Everything tasted fresh, but it says it has French fries in the bowl, but there were only like five frieswhich is not a lot. One of the people I came with had the same issue with her bowl, and my other friend had the chicken saladgyro and enjoyed it. I would recommend visiting! Lots of good options to choose from.
Nice little Mediterranean restaurant; they have lots of menu options, and the service is fast and efficient. I had the fried calamari with sweet wasabi sauce (excellent! , and the barbecue gyro...probably the best gyro I've had in a long time! KingDavid's also offers vegetarian/vegan/gluten free menu options as well.
I was very disappointed with my experience. This place used to have amazing food and a lovely dining atmosphere, but it has really declined. The tables were dirty, and when our food arrived, we had to ask for silverware. The staff brought us wrapped plastic sporks instead. We also had to search for our own napkins. It felt more like a fast-food joint or cafeteria than a restaurant. It's such a shame because it used to be great. I won't be returning.
I stopped by for a quick dinner and dessert, and I was really impressed with the excellent and prompt service. The restaurant was spotless, which added to the pleasant experience. The food was delicious; we tried the lamb gyros and baklava, and both were the best we've had in the area. The baklava, in particular, was the best I've ever tasted. A big thanks to Latifah for the fantastic service!
