I came here with two of my buddies after working next-door and smelling an irresistible amazing smell of homemade tortillas. Once we got our lunch break, we beelined straight to the front door and wow this place really does go dummy. I got the Carne asadas of tacos which were your classic tacos that I was excited about and then I have the rice and beans on the side thank you for the perfect protein. View all feedback.
What Martin Edens doesn't like about Acambaro Mexican Restaurant:
Love the salsa! This is the place I use to guage other mexican restaurants. Most don 't measure up either. Nachos are great! If you are trying to decide which mexican restaurant to go to, stop trying and just go to Acambaro. You won 't regret it, and if you do, well, you 're probably one of those people and wouldn 't be pleased with anything, regardless of where or what it was. Hungry, hangry, or just in the mood for... The food was good. The service was friendly. A little small inside so if your group is on the large side, I would call ahead to make sure they have room for you. Otherwise, a good spot for reasonably priced Mexican food.
Being from Texas it 's hard to find real Tex Mex in Arkansas that 's not a chain. Well this place hits the spot every single time for someone who wants Tex Mex. The frozen margaritas are huge, 2 different types of salsa. Chips are amazing. Enchiladas, rice and beans are perfect and the taquitos are amazing as well. Staff are amazing and everyone who works there are super friendly. Definitely coming back soon
Really good traditional tex mex. I could make a meal on the rice and beans alone. Note for fellow vegetarians, the base cheese enchilada comes with a meat sauce, but they will sub for ranchero or cheese sauce. Definitely a no frills place. Very reasonably priced for the food quality.
My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for almost 20 years. It is by far the best Mexican food in Fayetteville. Most of the patrons are regulars that we have seen over and over again. It 's a small place, however extremely clean and well managed. All of the food there is fresh to order and their salsa and chips are terrific. I love spicy food, however you better have your 'Big Boy ' britches on if you go all in on the spicy salsa. I usually mix mine with mild. Don 't read the bad reviews, go here! Thanks for reading.
It is kind of a hole in the wall, but it is BY FAR the best Mexican restaurant in Fayetteville. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, and the service is amazing (they prioritize speed over smiles, and that's fine by me my drink never gets empty). This is the only place in town where I eat at least once per week.
