For 22 Eu... read more November 2019, you wouldn’t expect to find too many tourists in Fayence. We had been recommended La Farigoulette and our experience didn’t disappoint. For 22 Euros we had a three course lunch with a glass of very pleasant house wine. The sauce accompanying the veal...belly was divine. We now have a house in Rue du Chateau so expect to be regular diners at this superb restaurant.

We took the set menu for just 22.50 euros each which incl... read more First time visiting this restaurant despite having been to Fayence many times over the past 10+ years. We took the set menu for just 22.50 euros each which included toast&tapenade on arrival, then cold courgette soup and emulsion taster (much better than it sounds), cod...steak on a bed of vegetables with truffle sauce, fig clafoutis (a kind of tart) with red berries and red jus, accompanied by a glass of good house white wine. Everything was delicious (frankly better than we expected). Certainly worth the walk up the hill (although there is some parking available nearby) to the panoramic view prior to sitting down to eat. Highly recommended, and spectacular value for money especially when compared to some of the other restaurants in the town which have become quite expensive over the past few years.

When we first told her, she was annoyed and was not very pleasant. the second time we told her, she replied that she was vaccinated and wore a mask was not a commitment, despite the fact that it was characterized by fayence that wearing a mask was a commitment, a total lack of respect for the customers!
