After an incredible visit to the Azienda Agricola Savoia Masseria (olive farm) the owner, Valeria, called and made a reservation at Vitemia. Angelo was warm and so accommodating to us. We started with antipasti of caponata of roasted peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and onions in their delicious juices and marinated artichokes. Since my husband is vegetarian and allergic to seafood and fish we went the vegetarian way with a ravioloni alla burrata with a fresh tomato sauce and a drizzle of burrata. The filling was a delightful combination of burrata and smoked cheese of some sort as well as herbs. Fantastic! The wines were local and excellent. We finished with housemate tartuffi pistachio for me and white chocolate for hubby. Excellent caffè. Angelo was so welcoming and helpful with my terrible try at Italian. I apologize to him for the muddy floor just had to see that 1000 year old olive tree. Great lunch! Great Day!

The food was truly amazing, every single dish! Please note that I am Italian and not a foreigner, so I know what authentic local good food is. The quality of the produce was extremely high, everything was fresh as grown in their own garden. The atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

We had an absolutely delicious whole local wild spigola that was fantastic, followed by a frittura of calamari and merluza done with corn flour for the gluten free eaters. It was fabulous! The salad was wonderful, all greens grown organically on their property. Couldn’t recommend it more!
