The streets are usually very quiet and you never know where you get into......entering a very old farm house.....arriving at beautiful garden setting, 2000 year old olive trees.....yes, you heard right simply amazing place and must see!
The location is beautiful tables spread out in a patio and garden, with greenery all around. However, the food was disappointing at best. The mixed appetisers were bland, orecchiette are below the average of other restaurants in the area, meat is nothing special. Not really worth the trip!
Good food but the service was terrible. 20 tables were being serviced by one poor waiter quite remarkable from the owners, given it was peak season, not to hire more staff. We waited 1 hour in between courses. The single waiter was excellent, but the poor chap had an impossible job tending so many very cheap from the owners. Strange as well, given the pricing of the restaurant and its general aspiration is clear high end market. It was talked about by other tables nearby too.
Recommended by our hotel, this enchanting place, hidden behind a wall of foliage on the roadside, did not disappoint. We enjoyed lovingly prepared and delicious local food and wine in an almost fairytale setting amongst the ancient olive trees. Knowledgeable staff guided us through the menu choices and served us impeccably.
Top service: Angela is a very helpfull women who speaks fluent english which is perfect for tourists! She explained the card very clearly The food was delicious and well served. Beautiful location, in a garden with Oliver trees over 1000 years old. Wauw, really nice setting. We come back
