the ambiente is very beautiful and unique. the service was good and attentive. we had the two suppen. the algarvian fish soup was quite salty due to the Bacalau mosquito in the suppe. the starters were even and garnel, both very good. the mains were kabeljau and avocado salad. both not so good. dessert was very good. What User doesn't like about O Visconde:
Food was cold except steak which was overdone (husband ordered rare). Service was awful. Starters never cleared away so we put it all on a side table. Waited half hour after finishing our main course for someone to bring dessert menu. Eventually left as couldn’t get anyone’s attention to even sign for the meal. Overall disappointing. Waiting staff seemed hassled and inexperienced . View all feedback.
The restaurant is located in the old part of the pousada. the entrance is formed by the old kitchen of the planter. the combination of original and very modern architecture and furniture is well made. the service is very attentive, but could be trained a little more in severing technology. the menu offers a good selection of Portuguese dressed and the preparation is close to the perfection. the products used seem to be of high quality. we had the tenderloin and the otopus – both cooked for perfection. the potato gratin that came with the meat got a lot of looked in it and was therefore too hard to go with the delicate meat. for money is goog. I recommend this restaurant.
Bom ambiente. a equipe sempre estava atenta a alguma necessidade. a refeição foi muito boa. o ambiente muito bom.

Hi,i been last night with family.food so nice and enjoy all meal .we will be back soon and cant wait for next time.
We enjoyed an awesome day at Faro 's countryside, visiting Palácio de Estói and the nearby Ruínas de Milreu . For lunch, we chose O Visconde , the restaurant at Palácio de Estói (which houses a small luxury hotel). No complaints at all and, as it was off-season, we were probably the only clients for lunch at that day. Drinks on the terrace and meals inside the main building. Clean decor (very practical and casual, but not matching with the palace 's French fancy furniture), nice food, friendly service and affordable prices. Bon Appétit!
