Authentic Irish bar. Lol?! Yeah, right...!€6.10 for a Superbock. Prepayment, from a barking waiter, who tbf, did well to clear the queue by getting sleepy Brits to wake up!
I must say i am shocked at all the bad reviews and if i had seen them before i went here it may have stopped me so i am glad i didnt check the reviews as my visit was superb!! Was a little busy when we arrived, was about 3 people infront of me in the que but was served within 2-3 minutes. Order was taken quickly and efficiently, no real memorable customer service just a bit rushed through like cattle but hey i have a plane to catch and not a fan of small talk so i opt for being cattle in an airport any day. Food was ready in about 10 mins and was superb, really satisfied my desire for pub grub which i missed being in Portugal (sorry, typical Brit here) but was typical pub grub, it was surprisingly good quality. They had a beeper ordering sytem, so this device got triggered when your food was ready to collect from the bar which i found alright, would of been better with table number service, just get too many people moving around and if someone elses food is ready at the same time as you and they get to the bar before you they are breathing all over your food while they try and pick which one is theres but works both ways if i beat them to bar and i become the breather. Felt there was enough staff to accomplish this, there was quite a few gathering behind the bar. I had quite a bit of food and was too much for one person and one trip, staff could blatantly see that and carried doing what they was doing. Nothing major just different to what i am used to and i am sure wouldnt bother some people like being treated like cattle doesnt bother me.. So overall pretty happy with the place, table number service would have made it perfect.
Very disappointed with service. Elderly Portuguese gentleman served me. Ordered 1/2 chicken price in menu €17.50. He insisted it is €22. His colleague then pointed out there is also a €17.50 as well as €22 but was too late to change my transaction. No apology. I asked for potatoes not chips he said no problem when I received food it was chips. I asked to change to potatoes as he had promised. His reply was we only serve chips again no apology. Unsure if there is a language interpretation problem here but very simple to be courteous and to apologies if someone is wrong. I am a regular traveller in Faro Airport won't be going to Mulligans due to poor service.
Visited today 23rd August for breakfast before our early flight home worst decision we ordered two full English breakfasts and two sausage sandwiches I also asked for one sandwich to have an egg aswell which they charged me an extra €2 for also ordered 4 hot drinks I tapped my card expecting it to come to €58 after adding up the price from the menu to then find out they had charged me €71.20 when I questioned why they had charged me over €13 more than what it should of been the man behind the bar became very rude and basically said I was wrong we were in a hurry before our flight so left it and put it down to a bad experience and when the food came out it was cold not worth the original €58 it should of been all the staff have a can't be bothered attitude and also seem to think it's perfectly acceptable to eat behind the bar then serve and touch customers cups after without washing there hands absolute joke of a place and clearing take advantage of customers
