Late for the ferry back to Olhao, we ended up here for lunch! Very friendly staffs who recommended good choices. The steak sandwich is amazing, meat is tender and potatoes chips were crispy! Strongly recommended. Just make sure you have cash with you since there is no ATM on the island. View all feedback.
What Richard A doesn't like about Cais Aqui:
Went to this place two days in a row and enjoyed coffee and sandwiches. Good location right off the ferry. Most staff friendly and approachable. One of our party of four left an empty bottle of water from our journey on the ferry without realising which caused a man behind the counter to get so irate. Lovely place, with excellent staff and the owner couldn’t do enough to make sure everyone was enjoying their time there. Steak roll was very tasty and everyone in the family enjoyed their choices. Would definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced compared to other places on the island.
After we disembark the ferry it was our first stop. Had an amazing avocato toast and poached egg, along with an unique ham and cheese crepe. One can see the quality of the ingredients and the care of preparation. I must highlight that WC were extremely clean, all in general very clean and that the staff is well trained and complies with the Covid cleaning measures. This is a Safe place.
Just near the dock, so if you are catching a boat it is a great place to have a drink and watch the sea. Owner is very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic location, “prego” and sandwiches, light food and salads. They have the best “prego” I’ve tried since yesterday, and I’ve already tried in many locations in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Angola, Dubai and so forth. Fantastic. The meat and the way they cook it is amazing. Good service and pricing. It is mandatory to order the prego in traditional bread.
Excellent place at Farol Island. The tuna sandwich is delicious. For lunch they always have fresh seafood. Great sunsets with an spectacular view and good dj or life music. The drinks are also very good.Try some cocktails, gins or the delicious bandida cidra (portuguese)
