North Street Press Club - Farmville

I love their hummus appetizer as a meal and their vegan burger is delicious with their vegan cheese options.

I was a great lunch. We ordered the hummus and shared the mushroom Vegan wing, half Nashville hot, half Korean BBQ. I was very impressed by how everything tasted. The service was very fast, and all foods exceeded expectations. All for an affordable price! If I'm ever in Farmville, I'll definitely return.

I haven't been to town in a while, and was suprised to see that the printing place is now a restaurant. Inside is super cute and was decorated for the holidays. It felt very welcoming. They have a cozy couch section for cooling with your friends, two pool tables for leisure, and a small stage. I hear they have good DJs in the evening sometimes. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I have a gluten intolerance and they were helpful in answering questions and very accommodating. They have gluten free buns for their burgers, but I decided to go bunless. I honestly didn't feel like I missed anything. I'll be going back, their menu looks good, even for someone with intolerances. (They also have a small vegan section on their menu).

Customer Service always is a premium at NSPC. We enjoy being able to walk there from the Piedmont Real Estate office on High Street. Their food selection is wonderful, and servers are always prompt to take our orders. They have some flexibility to modify menu items, and that's much appreciated. We've been to visit a number of times for lunch, and their food always tastes fresh. Usually, I order their salads, and the salad greens are top quality and the grilled chicken is consistently delicious. There are a number of vegetarian options of their menu, and that a wonderful option to have available for some people!

Ward Davis (Singer Song Writer) is the reason why I went to North Street for 2 hours. Before buying tickets for the show I thought I would read a few reviews to get an idea of what to expect. I don't have to agree with any negative rating on North Street because my experience was much different, I think. I expected a waiting time to sit, but was immediately at 6:00. We ordered drinks and an app (Tuna tar tar tar tar) and it was placed on our table within 10min. Our Entrée was on the table within 15min after the order. Our waitress Teresa B was by far the best server I've seen. Some people love their job and it shows. Ward Davis is not the main stream, but has written songs for guys who are Willy Nelson and Haggard to call a couple. I've seen that he's filled up big stages in the past and was worried that North Street might not be big enough to support his fan base. I was pleasantly surprised to see though North Street building is not huge that it did not end up crowded at all. The people this night were a mixed bag of different kinds and all were friendly. Farmville is a college town so it was expected. Anyway, I would suggest you look at the negative comments about this place and if you are ever in the area, give them an attempt and judge for themselves. I hope you're as happy as we are.
