What User doesn't like about Vespa Italian Kitchen:
The food was ok. Got marinara sauce spilled on me by accident by a server clearing the table, I understand accidents happen. BUT. Manager said he would pay for my ugg boots to be cleaned because sauce got on them. Then when speaking to him about it the next day on the phone he expected me to pay up front for the cleaning. I got upset and said no I will not be fronting the money, they need to pay my bill. He then told... View all feedback.
I went to Vespa for the second time and it was just okay. There are definitely better Italian restaurants in the Farmingdale area.
The food was great and I'll definitely come back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cheese Steak Sandwich
The service was average. Most drinks were decent, but the bourbon sour was too sour. The artichoke appetizer was not tasty. However, the meatballs were delicious. Unfortunately, the linguini and clam sauce had shell fragments and sand in it. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and the prices were unbeatable. The atmosphere was also very inviting and bright, creating a welcoming experience.
Another restaurant that had been on my bucket list for quite some time. When I first visited Vespas two days ago, I was immediately struck by the stunning ambiance. The restaurant combines a modern look with the traditional style of an Italian restaurant. The music they played was fantastic, blending house music with modern hit songs, which I absolutely loved. They also offered a variety of creative cocktails, which I couldn't resist. I tried an Italian margarita, which was a unique twist on a margarita, and I found it absolutely delicious. I also ordered a Grey Goose dirty martini with olives, shaken not stirred, and they nailed it in the drink department. Now, let's talk about the food. For appetizers, I ordered the cold seafood salad and a 12-inch clam pizza. The seafood salad was out of this world, bursting with flavor and just the right amount of lemon, making it absolutely divine. The clam pizza, however, was just alright. The addition of bacon overpowered the pizza, and I could only get a slight taste of the clam beneath it. For the main course, I opted for their steak, which I believe was a sirloin. It came with truffle fries and truffle sauce, both of which were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and a unique style. Unfortunately, the steak was a huge disappointment. I ordered it medium, but it arrived more like a well-done steak, making it difficult to chew, especially considering the $50 price tag. If you're going to charge $50 for a steak, it should be cooked properly. However, I must admit that the flavor of the steak was delicious, which was the only downside to the experience. For dessert, I enjoyed their cannoli. It was an amazing cannoli with smooth cream, just how I like it. I also want to commend the service; although I forgot the names of the two servers, they were on top of their game, very nice, friendly, and helpful. Vespas is the real deal, but I do wish the steak had been better.
