This is a cozy dive bar located in the far northern part of Fargo, ND, attached to a bowling alley that many would prefer to overlook. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. What User doesn't like about Slammer's Sports Casino:
I live just down the road from here and I used to live going here. They close way too early. I'm a mom of 4 young children and the only me time I get is later at night after I put the kids to bed. It would be great to be able to walk up the road to have a beer, play pool or gamble a little but every time I get here they are trying to push everyone out the door. View all feedback.
I stopped looking for a friend looked like the place hoped many bowlers and the bar went fine. The staff seemed to be respectfully polite and take care of the business that I had and left drinking is just not my thing as if it were too much of a trouble and let us get him his illegal to drink and drive so call a taxi or drink at home or better have a limo.
Dimly lot with strange odor from the bar. Bathrooms are in disrepair with half of the facility torn up for a remodel that the owners have no intention of completing so they can continue to claim lost wages due to Covid. I expect they will be out if business in the next three years.
New staff is absolutely awful. Since the turnaround of staff, you cannot get anyone to help you- stocking the cooler when the place is busy is more important. Maybe there should be some priorities put in place. Waiting for a drink at the bar for over 20 minutes (yes I timed it) and was never even acknowledged- we left. UPDATE: The bartender does not care for a negative review so the LIFE of Pleasure will leave a nasty review on your business page because of the truthful Google review left here.
The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is often vibrant and lively. It's a great spot to enjoy a few drinks and unwind with friends.
I visited a restaurant while searching for a friend, and it had a bowling alley, which I hoped would be lively. The bar area was busy, and I placed my order. The staff appeared respectful and courteous, demonstrating a commitment to their work. However, drinking isn’t really my thing, and I found it a bit overwhelming. I believe it’s important to have a safe way to get home, whether that means calling a taxi or using a limo, instead of drinking and driving.
