What Lonnie Johnson doesn't like about Papa John's Pizza:
Made my order at 7:25. Order didn't arrive till around 8:35 pm. Called the store and manager said driver must of taken more orders. I said ok that's fine. Driver with sparkly belt finally brought food. The chicken Alfredo papabowl looked like asloppy veggie bowl with a chicken bone in it. We always order from this location and the food is good. Was turning onto 32nd right next to Papa Johns yesterday around supper time. The delivery driver that was turning out behind me was smoking a cigarette license plate 171 DMH. Found it really unprofessional that they were smoking a cigarette in the same caras the food as the smoke can contaminate food. I see it as the same sort of situation of an employee smoking in front of thestore rather than going to the back. As a delivery driver, you are a face of the company and to be smoking a cigarette whilebeing a face I feel is unprofessional.
I placed my order at 7:25 PM, but it didn’t arrive until around 8:35 PM. When I called the store, the manager mentioned that the driver might have taken on too many orders. I accepted that explanation. Finally, the driver, who was wearing a sparkly belt, delivered the food. However, the Chicken Alfredo Papabowl looked more like a messy vegetable bowl with a chicken bone thrown in. We usually enjoy our meals from this location, but this was by far the worst experience we've had.
The service was incredibly quick, and the staff member kindly adjusted my bill, which saved me nearly $10.
I ordered online but received an entirely different meal. The staff member was quite rude and acted as if it was our fault, even after we showed her our online order. It’s amusing that there’s a sign on the door reminding customers to be nice to the employees; perhaps they should consider being nice to customers as well.
