Was Mark S at Bernbaum's a mag?
Amazing breakfast, really affordable. Fantastic coffee, I hate orfully dark roast and their coffee was a very nice medium roast. Super fresh and simple foods with local ingredients. Can't recommend this enough as a light breakfast. View all feedback.

Delicious deli indulgences, great matzo ball soup. One of my favorite Fargo casual noshes. Use the outdoor seating when weather permits!
The knish was delicious, the coffee was strong and the bagels were very New York like. Overall a great breakfast place.
Good options for breakfast. Self service for teas. Really good atmosphere.
This is my favorite place to get Brunch in the FM area. Delicious, friendly service, and the best lavender vanilla latte in town.
Driving through on a long road trip, we popped in for lunch. My knish of the day was fresh, veggie laden and garnished like a high-end restaurant entree. So many flavors and delights. Potato salad equally tantalizing. And the retro toy kitchen appliance art was too fun!

Eating is amazing, service is excellent, and the prices are fantastic. the shakshuka is my absolute must-have brunch, and I am in love with the hummus bagel sandwich. but seriously, I got breakfast, lunch, a laundry box, an extra baguette, two desserts and coffee for under $50. How can you give up? (the table markers instead of paying are also enchanting! my favorite was the pug bug I got once. this time I had the holiday
I'm stuck to the brunch. all in our party enjoyed their meal very much. quality ingredients, amazing aromas, perfect portions. everything was delicious. this place is a jewel. I can't wait to try some of the other menu items. one of the best in the middle west!
Bernbaum is an absolute joy! one of my favorite restaurants of all time - and this includes the years I lived in nyc! andrea understands food, texture, taste and how to bring it together as a completely satisfying food experience! I guarantee that they will not find another place like this, where close! what a true jewel of the FM food community!
We have been eating numerous times here is always good no matter what we order. their eggs of the day (egg bakers) shall die.
I had the Lox+eggs with a seeded bagel. It was so good and a great portion. The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was busy but not chaotic. I'll definitely be going back.

We Ate Well Tonight... Tonight we attended BernBaum's for a rustic Italian dinner. I learned a new term-Involtini and I will never forget it. For those of you that have never had the chance to taste an involtini, it is the most perfect roll-up of flavor, eggplant filled with mint, raisin feta covered in a garlic tomato sauce. Heavenly. I felt the urge to talk with my hands like a true Italian after the first bite, and I’m half Italian as it is! Then came the pasta pillows that were so rich, stuffed with ricotta or lamb/pork ragu depending on your choice. Ike I passed our portions back and forth unable to determine which was better because both were just so damn good! Finally, there was the Meyer lemon semifreddo. Tart and sweet and the quintessential ending to a satiating savory meal. BernBaum’s is so unassuming, so unpretentious. From the personal call from Amy to remind us of our reservation, the kind conversation at our table with Camille, Paul’s graciousness after congratulating him for the magic he makes in the kitchen to the welcome and thanks from Andrea as we entered the door. One can’t help but feel like we’re at their dinner table in their home having Sunday dinner because we’re friends. Oh to be friends with these people! The absolute best! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!
Everything was absolutely delicious, the bagel, salad, knish (best I've ever had), and a spectacular Turkish coffee/Cardamom brownie. Hands down one of the best lunches I've had in months. The staff was also very friendly and nice.
I had an amazing lunch at this restaurant. It was my first time here and I was impressed by the fresh and flavorful dishes. I will definitely be returning. Everything we tried, including the lamb meatloaf sandwich, salad, mushroom and rutabaga soup, and the lox and gravlax bagel plate, was delicious and I was not disappointed. The food was so good!
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in downtown Mid Mod. I recently tried the heirloom tomato salad and was blown away by how extraordinary it was. It was seriously the best salad I've ever had. Following that, I had the Matzo soup which tasted just like a homemade meal your grandmother would make every Sunday. Every ingredient was perfectly cut and seasoned, and the Matzo balls were the best I've ever had. I also couldn't resist buying some bagel chips, which were amazing. I definitely plan on becoming a regular at this restaurant. Thank you for bringing back quality and craftsmanship to lunchtime. Even Gordon Ramsay would be impressed!
We so enjoyed the place and the people who own it and work there: genuinely warm, friendly and caring, such a refreshing experience! The food was amazing! Definitely will recommend the place to all my friends!

Their vegan eggs and lox Also Their vegan pastrami sandwich. Both loaded, tastey, colorful and full of nutrients. Coffee section is a delight as well. Staff is always helpful. Vibe is always Upbeat
We loved our breakfast so much we ordered vegan sandwiches to take with us on our trip west.
We were driving through Fargo and had low expectations for vegan options. However, I found this place on Happy Cow and am glad I did! They had not just one or two, but several vegan choices. I tried the lox bagel plate. It was an interesting combination of flavors. Very pleasantly surprised.
The vegan lox, made with carrots, was surprisingly tasty. The only other vegan lox we 've tried is Sophie 's (sold at Whole Foods/other supermarkets). Bagels were tasty as well. Counter staff were very friendly and welcoming. Portions of vegan cream cheese, hummus and other toppings were generous. We highly recommend a stop at BernBaums if you find yourself passing through ND!
