What ickycookster doesn't like about The Wheatsheaf:
Brought our son who is over from Oz for a roast and was completely underwhelmed by the roast. Undercooked roast potato two small plates of veg for 4 of us with just enough cauliflower cheese for one and a complete foul up of my wifes vegetarian dish. Thin gravy too!!!!! Puddings were ridiculously small. So many friends who live in the village recommended us but boy oh boy was this disappointing. View all feedback. What Maggie H likes about The Wheatsheaf:
Fabulous meal bringing our extended family together. The choice on menu was extensive, the food was so delicious the service was 5plus. The waitresses were efficient, informative, helpful so friendly. We will definitely be back strongly recommend a visit. Thank you all involved in our perfect visit View all feedback.

Good food, great service. Nice atmosphere. One of the best pubs in the area.

The Wheatsheaf, located in a charming village, offers diverse menu options with excellent service and food quality. Despite some mixed reviews regarding portion sizes and dish preparations, the overall experience is positive. Attentive service, warm atmosphere, and a good selection of beverages make it a recommended dining spot. The Winter Fest was a success with good beers and tasty pies. While pricing may be on the higher side, the quality justifies it. Friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious food, and generous portions make for a worthwhile visit. A hidden gem worth exploring again.

Well priced and great food. We took friends there and it was a very good choice. I would recommend it to anybody. The reason I chose it was that they take dogs!
