My favourite Indian restaurant to go to. I love that they accommodate to any alterations and even better, the food comes out perfect and so tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Always a great night out. You can’t go wrong! Have been a regular customer for the last 15 years but they seem to get better ever time we go.

I have dined at this restaurant twice within a two-week period. The food is excellent; I tried the Chicken Dahnsak with a peshwari naan, which was delicious. Despite the slightly dated interior, I still give this restaurant five stars thanks to the owners. They are charming individuals who provide fantastic service, guiding you through the menu with humor and grace, making the entire dining experience unforgettable. Whenever I am in Southampton, I will make sure to dine here again.

I had dinner at Basmati in Southampton last night (July 15th) and I highly recommend it. I ordered the Lamb rogen josh and the lamb was cooked to perfection, very tender. The rice and naan were also delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. I will definitely come back if I'm in Southampton again.

I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and usually enjoy the delicious food and friendly atmosphere. However, during my recent visit, I found the older gentleman who typically takes the orders to be rather abrupt and grumpy. This, combined with the mediocre food, prompted me to feel the need to leave a comment, especially since there are other Indian restaurants in the area. My chicken Balti was overly sour.
