They never caught us. mushroom soup. foie gras was a joy. this resto knows how to serve very good food.

Here in the januar visited a group of 7 adults and 2 children, adults mostly went for the wonderfully presented dry bark meat at the entrance of the restaurant.... read more Here in the januar visited a group of 7 adults and 2 children, adults mostly went for the wonderfully presented dry bark meat at the entrance of the restaurant. fantastic aroma on the rib eye steak and well presented on the teller. the others had the locality of the perch meuniere, again top class. and the children had excellent pizza. the vully red wein was an enormous improvement, what they produced 20 years ago and would highly recommend it. a total of 5 stars for eating and service. in the future

We were at the hotel lacotel for 2 nights and thought that we should give the restaurant an attempt as there is a high rating in tripadvisor, but the service wa... read more We were at the hotel lacotel for 2 nights and thought that we should give the restaurant an attempt as there is a high rating in tripadvisor, but the service was missing and the eating was an average much to our disappointment. we went there during dinner and. our 2 years old son was already very hungry. had not seen too many people before us, so it might be fast. ordered a child meal of fishfilet and a pizza. but our order did not even seem to have thought that the ones who came after us were served and some even finish their meal. she called the waitress to check the kitchen and she came back and said it could take a few minutes. it is very obvious that they have screwed the order or have forgotten to place our order. then the child's meal came and I tasted her before I gave her to my son. the fish fillets were filled with small sharp bones. how can they serve fish fillets with bones to small children?! no matter how hard I tried to separate the meat and the bones, it is bound to be a few well hidden bones deep inside. I didn't feed the fish to my son because I didn't want to risk the bones sticking in his neck. had a complaint about her to the waitress and I asked her to forward the botanical to the cook, but the waitress came back with a sorry and a face that says: "there is nothing she can do about her". she spoke to the manager or someone, but they probably just turned them off and they ask to apologize to the customer instead. originally wanted dinner at both nights in the restaurant as it is so convenient in our hotel. but after the incident on the first, we would rather go all the way to another place to dinner in the following night.

Ser... read more I ordered a ribeye steak medium. It was delicious! Perfectly cooked and excellent taste. The french fries were very very good as well. Very nice atmosphere. Service was good. However, it took a long time to get my bill. Seems to be very typical here...in Switzerland. Also, the price was a little steep. 51 CHF for steak,fries,and few veggies.
