Last summer on my way from Belgium to Greece, I made a stop in Fano, about 15km north of Ancona. Situated on the boulevard along the beach, I discovered this tipical italian restaurant, where mainly locals gather for lunch or diner. With the terrace-windows open wide, I hade a great pasta with clams and schrimps together with some tastefull local white wine, while enjoying the cozy bustle on the boulevard. The owner Paolo is realy a sweet and generous guy who treats his customers as family. In brief, this place is realy worth passing by !
I loved Il fritto ! very special taste and not at all oily, not salty.I come to Mamadera for 4 years now, always had a nice dinner with family in the garden.I miss Barbara though.
Located on the Lungomare Giovanni Paolo II, Restaurant Mamadera is nicely placed to watch the world go by. The decor is light and breezy, it has a great atmosphere and exceptional friendly and professional staff. The service is very good, the meals exceptional and is excellent value for money. It was so good, we ate there two nights in a row !! Highly recommended.
If you have several days in Fano try every type of pasta (4 if I'm not mistaken in Mamadera. They all are just OMG yummy. Very friendly service made us feel welcomed and almost at home. Loved the place and been there for lunch 5 days in a row (from 7 days we spent in Fano . I actually do not eat pasta. But there I did
We both had a pasta dish for lunch and found the base dish delicious. However they added some weird garnishes to the dish some unidentifiable small berries to my boyfriend’s dish and lemon rind to mine. Accidentally eating both of these almost ruined the dish but thankfully we managed to pick them out. Very good meal apart from that
