Lighthouse - Fanning Springs

Great home style location, salad bar was full and fresh. Food arrived on time and they had a young man who played a few tunes on the piano while we are. Had fresh shrimp and oyster platter was yummy and wife have catfish that was perfect. Reasonable prices and laid back atmosphere. Vegetarian options: Salad bar

Food here is usually delicious. Not tonight, 1st there were no NY Strips so they gave me a Delmonico that was so salty it was not eatable, plus the shrimp was stale. They cooked me another steak that wasn't much better than the 1st. I hope this was an anomaly because I eat here a lot and I'd be highly disappointed to see their quality go down.

Hamburgers are great and massive and very reasonable. Onion rings are spot on as well. Good food and service.

The only thing about this place I didn't care for is charging you for another meal if you want to double your meat in your meal. So I like the dingy, I believe, is what they call it . It comes with 3 crab cake, 3 stuff shrimp, and 2 sides of choice. They are delicious! But to get more meat, they charge you for another plate. So another 20 or 25 dollars. No other options, period! Sucks but all in all, they have great food, quality customer service, and the wait time isn't long at all. They stay busy from what I've seen.
