Barry provided excellent service for us without a care for tomorrow. Despite our late arrival, everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The vast oyster selection made it difficult to choose, so we ended up trying them all. The bisque was flavorful and the lobster was out of this world. View all feedback.
Good seafood. I gave him four stars because the preparation was very traditional (see below about the lobster bisque). The service was AWESOME! The oysters were very good and like all the good oysters they arranged, and gave us a printed list so that we would not forget immediately after they told us. The tuna Poke was also good and I loved how to adjust the ingredients. The lobster bisque was good, but very creamy, what I think is how it is traditionally made. It had a good amount of lobster **** in it. Nothing is wrong with preparation, but it is neither my favorite nor compares it well with how some other lobster bisque have re-imagined. The cauliflower-fried rice was also a little bland, but perhaps it was meant as rice is usually bland.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Small and cozy interior, but the outdoor dining area is spacious with a unique landscape that reminds you that you are on the Cape

The seafood at this restaurant is fantastic. I rated it four stars because the dishes are prepared in a very traditional way. The service was excellent! The oysters were fresh and were presented in a specific order, along with a printed list to help us remember. The tuna poke was delicious, and I appreciated being able to customize it. The lobster bisque was creamy and had a good amount of lobster chunks. While it was good, it didn't stand out compared to other interpretations of lobster bisque. The cauliflower fried rice was slightly bland, which may have been intentional since rice is typically plain-tasting.
I am not sure why there have been negative comments about the portion sizes at Epic Oyster. I found that every dish was perfectly portioned, and the prices reflected the high-quality ingredients used. The food is served in sturdy cardboard containers for takeout, as the actual restaurant is housed in a train car with a likely small kitchen. The only utensils provided are metal, which seems reasonable given the volume of dishes they need to prepare for their customers. Do not let anyone deter you from trying this place. There are plenty of outdoor seats available, and reservations can be made online in advance.
