What Derrick F doesn't like about Pho Tu Ech:
Came in with my black friend and he got stared at the whole time and we sat down for 30 minutes before getting menus ! Passive aggressively were refused service and people who came in after us ate and paid before we even got our water. Wouldn't recommend. View all feedback.

First time here and came for a weekday lunch. This menu caught my eye as they offered more than the standard fare and I eat Vietnamese food almost every week! Ordered the chicken salad #8) and the fish cake noodle soup #15). The chicken salad was refreshing, balanced with sweet, sour, spicy. The noodle soup broth was light and clean tasting. The homemade fishcake, sea bass were both excellent. Though I finished most everything, I still asked for a container for the soup! Will add this spot to my rotation!
We came here off because we wanted to try a new Vietnamese restaurant and because Tyler Cohen said that everything here was good! Thank you Tyler Cohen, because we loved our meal here! Highly recommend both Bun Bo Hue and the Fish Cake soup! Can’t wait to come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This is a love letter to the grilled mussels appetizer that my family gets every time we're here. whoever is making magic in the kitchen please take all my money, my firstborn, my estate, just take anything you want. the bun bo hue here is good! i like how the finely chopped herbs are having so much fun in a soup that stands out from other bun bo hue dishes in the city. they didn't skimp out on the meat today! pho was definitely on the better side too! the flavor was a great experience.
