Visited from Baton Rouge and I hate that baked seafood where you pick a flavor and all they do is dip it. This is real Louisiana style seafood. Great service. Nice people. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What Luis Garcia doesn't like about Live Crawfish Seafood:
Flooring coming apart as well as sticky, bathrooms are not sanitary! A board holding up the sink! Makes me really hope I don’t get sick from here. Place really needs some upgrades! I paid 168.25 not at all impressed with the quality of the food. View all feedback.
I visited from Baton Rouge and I'm not a fan of that baked seafood where you just choose a flavor and they simply dip it. This is authentic Louisiana-style seafood! The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I definitely recommend it. Food: 5/5
Whenever I'm in town, I make it a point to dine here. Unfortunately, in recent years, I've struggled to visit when they are actually open, due to closures on Tuesdays, holidays, renovations, or family visits out of state. This time, I got lucky! Since it was only around 5 PM, the restaurant was empty and we were seated right away. Our orders were taken promptly when we were ready, and the food arrived quickly. I ordered the #1 Boil, which included Snow Crab, half a pound of headless shrimp, corn on the cob, and boiled potato. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal alongside an Orange Fanta. The food and service were excellent, and the decor was simple but satisfactory. I will definitely be back!
Sherry was the best server I have ever had. I’ve traveled extensively and have never encountered a server as kind and genuinely dedicated to providing great service. She remembers details about her customers that truly show how attentive she is. Sherry is funny, charismatic, and excellent in every way. Thank you, Sherry! I will definitely be back!
I didn't feel very welcome during my visit. The food was a mixed bag: the fried oysters were delicious, especially with the dipping sauce, but the catfish was just okay— it could have used more flavor. The bread was quite hard; I generally prefer a softer roll. Overall, the food was good and worth trying. On the plus side, it is kid-friendly and offers a kid's menu.
I don't dine out often since I'm on a budget, but the seafood boil here is exceptional. The staff is friendly, and while the restaurant has a simple decor, it's well-maintained. I definitely plan to return with my family. Be sure to try the Country Boil—it's a great value with fantastic flavor. Food: 5/5.
