We enjoyed our first ever visit to Liberty BBQ, and expect we'll go back. My husband had the 2 meat platter and I had the Saturday night fried chicken special. There are other daily specials on the menu for each day of the week. Their brunch menu looks appealing too. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Liberty Barbecue:
all the doors were open and it was freezing in all customers had their dumbbells and guard inside, but nobody seemed to notice. Eat was much for small portions and I ordered a piece of cake for 7.00 and I my cake was cracked the half of the crust missing and it looked like it was dropped. so eating is decent, but the ambiente is terrible cement floors, loud rock music, ice cold and no ambient lighting is not sure whe... Eating sucks. I'm sorry, not sugar coat. Your beans should be baked, not Pinto. Her Mac n cheese, brisket and pig bell were bland and tasted like they were reheated. Overall, I will not return.
Food is not worth it. Chips were stale and meat was cooked. Overall .. just not worth it. We were thrilled to come during our work trip and we were disappointed.
A reservation for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, but not really needed room was only 1/4 full. My 16-Jo son and I had the little plates each. Highlights: pork ribs, green collar, butternut quesh soup, fried chicken. Brisket was a little dry, but delicious and deviled eggs were just OK. My son loved the cookie with cookie engraving. Finished with a delicious butterscotch banana pudding. Service had often come back to order for more small plates and beverage refills. When we left at 12:30, place was 3/4 full. I'd definitely go back.
Second visit. The first visit was a pandemic. Quality of food slipped. Queso was soup. Vegetables appeared and tasted old. Cucumber salad with yellow cucumbers and was not eaten. Chop salad was small as it was a dinner salad. Hard to carrots and onions and light on greens. Meat was average. Bread was inconspicuous and appeared as bought at a grocery store. The meat eaters expected a higher quality in view of the type of restaurant. Overall, the staff was pleasant and somewhat attentive, despite a change at dinner, arriving at appetizers. $90 for three included 4 happy hour price drinks and 2 appetizers and only two meat eaters. Unfortunately, we don't see a reason to return.
Fantastic food drinks, great service, value, and experience. A bit loud, but worth it for the food!
