I think this place, though some difficulty with where situated that may impact interactions, is very very good. The owner cooks well and is really she is very friendly, is just at at intersection that is so busy and does not go too well with the easygoing setup indoors, and the good islander food she has to provide. What Margie Nguyen doesn't like about Kamayan Fiesta Filipino Asian American Cuisine Falls Church:
I came here for a to go order for dinner. It’s very small I don’t know when to park so I parked at the taxi station next door (prob not a good idea). The shop is very small. Food was lukewarm. Flavor was ok. Service was alright. I probably won’t come back. I know there’s another location in Springfield. I might try to check that spot out because it has better reviews but I was disappointed at this location. View all feedback.
Authentic and tasty. If you're on a special diet be careful but you can still find some dietary foods. Luckily, I eat a lot of meat and non-starchy veggies on my diet, which you can find on the menu. Last time here we had chicken adobo and a pork dish. Both were delicious. We had bitter melon, too, which I find very good. I also strayed off my diet for some lumpia, which was really yummy. I highly recommend Kamayan Fiesta if you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine and the people are very friendly as you would expect!
The food is good. But they give you to much rice for a little bit of meat. Why they can put meat over top of the rice in a bowl.
Arrived at 6:27 PM as google’s business hours listed they were open until 8 pm. Drive 25 minutes from Alexandria specifically to try their halo halo, only to enter into the physically open restaurant and be told by the employee they were in fact closed. The neon sign on the side of the restaurant literally still was on, and the door physically opened. Pretty annoyed to have come out of my way, to find it was closed. The employee also showed no empathy which drove me to leave this review. If you plan to come here, within their business hours, might be best to call to confirm first.
Place had an open sign on but the door was locked and no one inside the restaurant. I was here during open hours listed.
