What User doesn't like about Happy Lamb Hot Pot:
My go to hot pot spot! Screw the all you can eat hot pot places, the quality and flavor here is seriously unbeatable. And I know, some people really love places where they can make their own sauces to dip in but trust them when they tell you that their soups are flavorful enough where you won’t need sauces (imho the food tastes better as-is than drenched in sauces too). Their lamb skewers are also great sides to acco... View all feedback.
If I have visited family from the city and want them a big firm at a place that is authentic and not pretentious, I take them here. the taste is delicious, quality of the ingredients is great, and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable! so affordable. it is a fun date / group activity. if they eat with people with different nutritional restrictions, they can choose a pot with a part and have 2 separate broth! it worked well for me when I had a meal with my vegetarian friends and family members who don't like spicy food.
This was the first time that I and nabeby had hot pot and I am in love, we had the best of both worlds with the spicy and regular brews it was tasty and fun making my own custom suppe
Well. all suppen bases were great, but the sour cabbage was exceptional. it had so much taste, no diving sauce was necessary (nor it was offered, it is not so a place) all the sweet were fresh and tasty. recommend the mushroom dish and homemade garnel paste. everything is something on the pricier side, but for the quality it is worth.
I had hesitated to come because it’s not AYCE and doesn’t have a sauce bar, and I regret it so much because it is sooo very good and makes the other AYCE places seem basic in terms of flavor and quality. Everything was very fresh (even something like fried tofu), their house made items (lamb wontons, noodles, garlic marinade beef, etc) were so flavorful, and service was great. We loved the extra spicy broth, but got the half and half and the original broth was very creamy and flavorful as well. I truly didn’t miss having extra sauces at all. Two of us ate 2 plates of meat (the more expensive options), wontons, noodles, tofu, cabbage, potatoes, rice, and a beer and it was only $53 before tip! Less than AYCE and more satisfying. I’m surprised I don’t hear more people talking about it! edit they have a sauce bar now! Great variety and quality but I still felt like I didn’t need it at all!
It was a little more expensive than what I usually go for when going to a hot pot place, but it was definitely worth it. They even let you take leftovers home.
