Cold Stone Creamery - Falls Church

I normally don't write reviews but this was so disappointing. I placed an order for an oreo cookies and cream extreme cake with a custom message on it for my niece's graduation. Awful. The cake was sloppily frosted and the writing was atrocious. The employee assisting me wasn't rude but didn't apologize either just told me that this is how the cakes look. He offered to redo the message. Still bad. I wish I asked for a refund.

I grew up on cold stone, so whenever I can get some cold stone, I do. Tonight I wanted some cold stone, and because I have social anxiety, I ordered ahead online. When I got there, there was a line nearly out of the door. But I was able to just pop in and ask for my order. The cashier was really kind and I was in and out. But what really topped off this experience was that In special instructions for my online order, I asked for the Animal Crossing cup for my create your own, because I?ve played animal crossing for 13 years, but I don?t like bananas (which are a part of the animal crossing special flavor). They gave me the animal crossing cup! I know it seems small but it made my night that they paid attention to that detail and did that for me.

They have hired the Starbucks reject crew that was too slow. Your dessert will have melted before you can pay for it, after waiting in line for 30 minutes.

This is a great spot for icecream but the flavors are just okhay!

What truly made my experience special was a small detail related to my online order. In the special instructions, I requested the Animal Crossing cup because I've been playing Animal Crossing for 13 years. I also mentioned that I wasn’t a fan of the banana flavor from the Animal Crossing special. To my delight, they gave me the Animal Transit Cup! It may seem like a minor thing, but the fact that she paid attention to my request really made my night.
