I ordered the Chicken Pho, my standard order in Pho Restaurants. In addition to the chickens and noodles, it came with cut vegetables in soup containing carrots, cabbage, broccoli and bok choy. It's the first time I've ever seen that chicken pho served like that, and I wasn't interested. The chicken was also cut into very large slices that forced me to break up the meat with my fingers. The broth was at best lukewarm. I really liked the chicken as if it were chewing as if it were freezer. They served a lemon wedge instead of lime; no Thai basil came with the shrimps, but they delivered it when I asked. Overall, I cannot recommend this place.
It was fine. Boba tea and pho was $18.51 total after tax. Pros: Very fast and very good service. Order came out within a few minutes and my water was never empty. The food tasted fine, nothing weird or crazy that could turn someone off. The boba tea had lots of boba. The overall taste of everything was good. The overall atmosphere was good. The overall service was fantastic! Cons: They had lemon for the pho rather than lime (I didn't mind, I love lemon) and didn't give many bean sprouts (maybe they would have given more if I asked). Also thought it was weird the meat was at the top of the broth rather than the bottom (I ordered the rare beef and skirt flank). Wasn't even super hot temperature. Also the repetitive music gets a little boring but I do like how it's noninvasive good background music.
Ordered sweet and sour chicken. Tastes like McDonald's mcnuggets and were practically the same size, if not less. I received 10 on a small plate. That's a dollar a piece. The waitresses are working very hard there, and I feel like that even they are being skimped the same.
The Beef Pho is actually not bad considering location and the lack of options in Fallon. I?ve basically had this 3 days in a row and happy I?m not filling my arteries with grease and deep fried food. All things considered, 4 stars!
This is not traditional PHO, no basil with pho. Also they serve Chinese dishes??!! I have traveled all over Asia and know what real PHO tastes like. For $13 my chicken pho is pretty high priced for quality. If your taste buds are not refined this isyour spot, if you like authentic Vietnamese food then look elsewhere. Maybe they could offer a cheaper lunch only menu and workat sourcing better ingredients?
