Was martina merkel at Middlegate Station a mag?
The food was excellent and the history of the restaurant was very entertaining. It was not what we expected from the outside. Don't judge a book by its cover! This place is a must visit. I highly recommend eating here. We tried the veggie burgers, fake chicken patty burger, and they were delicious. The fries were also amazing. We even bought the hot sauce to take home! Incredible stop worth making along lonely 50. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing free overnight RV camping. Make sure you eat and drink while you're here; food is above average and prices are cheap! Hats are only ten bucks so grab one of those, too. Definitely a one of a kind not to be missed.
My SO and I spent several days here evacuated from a wildfire. We couldn't have found a better place to call home. Middlegate Station is composed of a restaurant/bar, gas station, and motel with plenty of room to roam. I would highly reccomend Middlegate Station as a base camp for all your adventures in the area. The people everyone we met was accommodating and kind. Over our stay we got to know the staff and felt truly welcomed and looked forward to coming in for meals, drinks, and playing p
Small place in the middle of nowhere. Staff is friendly, laid back environment, the food is really good. Ordered a Monster Burger to split between 2 adults and it was more than enough food. If you’re going through here on Highway 50 it’s definitely worth a stop!
Hidden Gem in the Desert…On what is known as the loneliest Highway, you come across this “Must Visit Spot on US50/SR361. Food is yummy with an incredible staff. Atmosphere is great and an all around place where you can unwind and take a break from your travels. If visiting for the first time, bring some memorabilia you can pin on the wall to make your mark.
Cool desert bar/restaurant to stop on the loneliest hwy. Big dirt parking area for big rigs. Can boondock, eat (full menu breakfast, lunch dinner) drink (full bar). We stayed the night pretty quiet except for the buzzing of the bar generator. Big truck traffic started at about 5am.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and the atmosphere was really entertaining. It was not at all what we were expecting. Don't judge a book by its cover - this place is a must-visit! I highly recommend dining here. We tried the veggie burgers and fake chicken patty burgers, both of which were fantastic. The Pommes were also delicious! We even had to take home some of their amazing hot sauce.
This amazing restaurant is definitely worth a visit with a mere $50. The owners are extremely welcoming and polite, offering free overnight RV camping. Be sure to indulge in the delicious food and drinks here; the quality is above average and prices are very affordable. They also have hats for just ten bucks, so don't forget to grab one. Overall, this is a unique experience that you don't want to miss.
My spouse and I stayed at Middlegate Station for several days after being evacuated due to a fire. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during this time. Middlegate Station is comprised of a restaurant/bar, a petrol station, and a motel with plenty of space to explore. I highly recommend Middlegate Station as a convenient stop for all adventurous individuals in the area. The staff we encountered were polite and welcoming. We enjoyed our meals, drinks, and time at the pool, as everything was fresh and reasonably priced. I loved every dish I tried and can't wait to return. The motel rooms were simple, affordable, and comfortable. The location is perfect for day trips to nearby attractions, like Austin. However, we had such a great time at Middlegate that we didn't want to leave. The night sky was breathtaking, with stunning sunrises and sunsets every day, along with plenty of wildlife to observe. Overall, we were impressed with our experience at Middlegate Station and look forward to returning to explore more of the surroundings.
Today, we had another fantastic breakfast at Middlegate. The service was very friendly and the old western atmosphere was truly unique.
