The food was incredible, and the service was excellent. The margaritas were delicious, and the carne asada was fantastic. Both the tacos and enchiladas were outstanding, and the deep-fried cheesecake was exceptionally good. The restaurant was only open for a few hours a few days a week, which likely contributed to its closure. It would be fantastic if someone could take it over and maintain the old menu, as it was far superior to almost all the other Mexican restaurants in the area. View all feedback.
Thank you, Mr. General manager, for spoiling my birthday. I just wanted my $120 reservation deposit back after my children paid $160 for the meal. But you felt you had to call me and raise your voice to me when I requested a refund of the deposit. The food was good. You spoiled it. The service was good. You spoiled it. The ambiance is good. You spoiled it. I hope that you take a business course and learn that honesty and respect for your customers is just good business.

I was very impressed with El Jardin! We normally go to Casa Estrellas but even though we enjoy their cocktail and chips they don't have the best Mexican food. At El Jardin they had a very extensive menu and everything looked really yummy on it. They have vegetarian options! The entire staff was extremely nice and very attentive. They have a great cocktail list as well and we enjoyed several drinks off of it. I liked the inside which is very unique. We enjoyed there food very much and will absolutely be back here.
I really wish I could give this restaurant more stars, but I always give honest reviews. We have lived in Fallbrook for a very long time, but have not eaten at El Jardin for 6-7 years. Tonight I convinced my husband to try their food again. We ordered the take out special of Tosada Suprema with chicken. Quite honestly they were very disappointing. We were hungry and that didn't even make it enjoyable. It was bland in flavor, with about a tablespoon of beans and a tablespoon of chicken...it was mostly soggy lettuce.
El Jardin is a great place to visit! Their location is conveniently placed in Fallbrook. Their parking has plenty of spots and easy to get in and out. The ambience is similar to a fun retro 70s island decor. The service is great! I called in my order and my food was ready sooner than what the server estimated. When I arrived, the hostess and owner were there and welcoming to me and the other patrons. Now for the food! The food was really good and well prepared. The food was flavorful and in a moderate proportion. We loved the chimichanga! I look forward to visiting again and trying more items!
