I had to Portuguese steak which was watered down. My eggs were very hard so I didn't eat them. My meal was not good at all. The person I was with ordered shrimp Mozambique. That too was really watery and had little flavor. I will not go there again it usedto be one of my favorite places to eat

It?s a good spot. The bread they bring to the table is great. Portion sizes are pretty big for the price. Parking right in front. Plenty of seating and super friendly women working here. Restroom has a small hallway before the actual bathroom which ilike so the dining seats aren?t right next to the doors. The steak was great but lacking on the sauce. The molho here is like amildly spicy oil. Eggs were over hard with the steak plate like most other Portuguese places in the area. Chouriço sandwich isliterally just chopped chouriço grilled and put into bread. Lol. I expected maybe that they would add a little something to itto make it a ?sandwich? Sangria is super syrupy sweet if you like that, it?s good. I love sweet but it kinda reminded me of aFour Loko? but again, prices were really good, staff was super friendly and helpful. I would just order some things differentnext time I come :

My husband and I visited Caravela for the first time on Sunday. We drove over an hour from the North Shore, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was delicious, and the staff greeted us so warmly that we felt like family. We will definitely be returning, no matter how high gas prices climb!
