The Grill Room - Falkirk

We booked a table for 5 for 5:30, we arrived early to have a drink. No confirmation when we arrived. Nobody asked if we wanted to drink. Only the Christmas menu available. In case of pain to say table WOOULD NOT be available until 5.30 bar employees did not know what a Shirley temple or Grenadine was? Restaurant completely empty we became the worst place in the restaurant next to the humidifier/power box/speaker and booking switch, asked to be moved due to the volume of the music said it was too loudly rejected no offer if we still want to be moved. Felt managers thought we wouldn't pay? Managers obsessed with the booking app and future bookings no offer of further drinks at any point seemed hug unconvenience waitress clueless forgot contents. wait between main course and desert. The waitress never left the pane of ice on the floor. Drinking order was wrong. Carpet, chairs cutlery dirty a terrible experience hope never be repeated. Only the redeeming of feature was acceptable. The best part of this experience, if our ten-year-old ever shows up, we threatened to take them back! We have eaten in many places around the world from 7star the Burj, Gleneagles Savoy etc. to local fast food and take away Nando's Macdonalds etc. I wish we had gone to Nando.

Room was cold and frightened. There were heaters, but we didn't sit nearby. Would not recommend the sweet potato and Rotbohnenburger, as it was too crispy and not very nice not to eat the meal. Steaks were very good, although the fillet, which should be done well, was pink in the middle.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea for five. We ordered for four when we had two children with us from the five, and there were loads we took home. Very recommended!

Lovely, well-presented food. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
