Description

Mango Restaurant, celebrated for its diverse Indian and Italian menus, has garnered a reputation that’s both positive and negative among diners. While some patrons rave about the cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff, and delicious dishes, others express disappointment with service issues and insipid food. Experiences vary widely—ranging from excellent service and high-quality meals to frustrating delays and unappetizing takeout. Families have enjoyed celebrations, yet others faced unwelcoming staff and safety concerns. As Mango strives to improve, many loyal diners hope their next visit will restore the quality they once cherished. Overall, it's a restaurant worth considering, but with caution.

The entire dining experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was exceptional and the food during yesterday's lunch was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We absolutely adore Mango! The staff is always friendly and attentive when needed. The food is delicious, and they frequently add new items to the menu to try. We highly recommend paying them a visit.

We decided to try out Mango for the first time since it's only a 15-minute drive from our home. We were celebrating Eid as a family and usually go into the city center, but opted to stay local this time. Unfortunately, our experience was not great from the start. There was no greeting upon our arrival, and we had to mention our reservation before any communication began. One staff member in particular was very rude and unfriendly, showing no manners and seeming eager for us to leave. There was no communication or even a smile from her throughout our time at the restaurant. We were given regular menus instead of lunch menus, but didn't bother asking for the correct ones as we were celebrating the end of Ramadan. It was frustrating to see other customers receiving the lunch menus. The food was bland and one of our children was burned by hot oil from his burger. It's disappointing that we had a negative experience, as we could have been repeat customers. It seems like our feedback may not be valued based on what we've heard.

Second time here, and both times fabulous. The food is so tasty lots of it and inexpensive. The hospitality is paramount, so attentive and kind. As we live near Edinburgh where the prices are extortionate, the price for all this is unbelievable. We will 100% be back.
