They wanted to talk to me in English if they knew some. I wanted to talk to them in German. Lots of nice places to walk, wandern. Walking distance to the small zoo and Heimatsmuseum. Currently there is a special display about building the reservoir, Talsperre. The room was big enough for 2 people, not cramped at all. Hot water. Food is good, as is the beer.

Despite having registered in writing for the... read more Dear team at Hotel Falkenstein, Thank you very much for the friendly welcome. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Despite having registered in writing for the à la carte breakfast, we were forgotten. The breakfast table wasn't set. This was quickly rectified, but not a standard hotel setting. The dirty tablecloths and tablecloths from previous guests were left lying around, and the dishes were quickly put out. The breakfast offerings were limited and could be improved. It's a shame, we had hoped for a little more.
