Lunch was too noisy, the food was good, but the €10.50 bottle of generic water and €3.50 coffee ruined the bill. I felt like I was on the Champs-Élysées! What a shame.
We went there for Easter, so we were able to try the special menu. None of the dishes on the menu were vegetarian, so I wasn't really sure what I could eat, but the restaurant was very accommodating and served me a discounted menu with a vegetable risotto that I found excellent. The appetizers (a selection of zucchini fritters, marinated peppers, pissaladière, etc. were also delicious and very generous. The same went for the desserts, although we were a little disappointed as there weren't many left, so not necessarily the ones we wanted to order. However, I was able to enjoy a tiramisu (which wasn't on the menu that was very good and I wasn't disappointed. We were upstairs, and the atmosphere was rather noisy, so we had trouble being heard by one of the other diners, who was over 80 years old. There was probably a staff shortage on this festive day because we found the service rather slow: the meal lasted 3 hours, but the small Easter chocolates placed on the table allowed me to wait between each course.
Finally, a restaurant that stands out from the countless Italian restaurants that are all too common in the area. This restaurant offers us excellent Niçoise cuisine; a big thank you to the whole team!
Very high-quality Niçoise cuisine, exceptional fresh and local produce, bistronomic cuisine, an exceptional setting, and attentive, professional, and top-notch service. Exceptional kindness towards animals. Christine is always attentive to her customers, treating them like guests. Thank you.
