JAKs offers a relaxed atmosphere that, in my opinion, isn't too noisy. The service is just as friendly as the locals who gather to play poker or trivia. Looking for a fun dinner experience? Check out JAKs Facebook page to see which food truck is serving dinner and delivering right to your table. Got kids? No problem, JAKs also serves home brewed root beer and cream soda. My 2 year old LOVES the root beer and dog friendly digs.

I am new to Colorado Springs, but I am experienced enough to recognize when I am being treated poorly. I visited this establishment with two friends who are also new to the world of beer, and I explained to the bartender what we were looking for and what I thought they would enjoy. I requested a flight of five beers, but the bartender did not even listen and I had to repeat my order. Both the bartenders and the atmosphere were terribly unfriendly. If you are looking to learn about beer, I would not recommend this place. I will never return, and when I mentioned this to the bartender, he not only laughed in my face but also mocked my friends who were being ridiculed for not knowing much about beer by other customers. This was the worst experience I have ever had.

The beer is excellent, but the service leaves something to be desired. One person was attempting to serve beer to 30 customers... absurd. Eventually, some additional help arrived.

Jaks is one of the best places to meet up with friends. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and they have an amazing selection of beers!
