Cobblers Tavern - Falcon

We are regulars at Cobblers and enjoy the food and atmosphere. We recently had lunch there on Mother's Day and the food was delicious. However, we had a booking from 11:30am to 1:30pm and our table was reserved for someone else at 1:30pm. At 1:20pm, the waitress abruptly told us that the other booking had arrived and we needed to leave. This was incredibly rude and completely ruined what had been a pleasant lunch with my parents.

My family came for a function and we made order at 7:30pm and waited till 9:00pn for our food poor service the chef left our big table to last was absolutely disgusted by the way we treat so we complained about it and oh then we got our food slow just **** poor excuse do job train people properly and get new chef

Great atmosphere here, always bustling. We went with friends for a meal in the restaurant after having drinks at the bar. The staff were friendly and professional. The food took a while to arrive and my thai beef salad arrived about 5 minutes after my friends had all started theirs, thought that was a bit odd. So the only reason a dropped a star rating was timing, although the place was busy, it wasn’t hectic. All in all, it’s a great bar/restaurant with a good variety of meals.

I purchased a takeaway Morrocan Salad on Wednesday, 4 Jan, 2022. I have always enjoyed them, but I have to say I was very disappointed with what I got on this occasion. I couldn’t believe that for $22 I got a handful of Rocket leaves, some red onion, very few seeds and little else. It was well short of what I am used to. It almost looked half-done. What was worse, I shared it with friends to whom I was raving about how good Cobblers is. They were less than impressed. Please do not view this as a complaint but rather as feedback. We are still likely to go there, but not if we get a repeat of yesterday’s disappointment. Best wishes, Marcello
